"Odessa Soundfreaks" is a techno artist from Ukraine usually releasing slamming, funky and melodic techno music, covering the whole range of techno, starting from tough tech-house and finishing with heavy hard-groove vibes.
The project was created in 2006 by Alexey Gordiyenko. In early days Andrey Smoroda (aka DJ Ray Spirit) joined him to add his touch to such big tracks as "Barrel Of A Gun", "Blow Your Ears" or "Tribal Bleep". Since then they've released numerous vinyl and digital works on such internationally respected labels as Patterns, Yin Yang, Adult, Toyfriend, just to name a few. They also had collaborations with Peppelino and David Moleon and have made numerous remixes.
Thier tracks are getting great rotation from many world's top techno DJs including Carl Cox, Judge Jules, Eddie Halliwell, D.A.V.E. The Drummer, Ben Sims, Aaron Liberator, Pedro Delgardo, Dr.Motte, Axel Karakasis, Spiros Kaloumenos, Peppelino, Whebba and many more. Their works are also featured on six CD compilations and on various vinyl records. Today Odessa Soundfreaks is a very well known name in the world of underground techno with recognizable big room energetic funky techno sound.
