Electro, House, Trance & Techno Releases: Corrupted Recordings. Audioklinik

Audioklinik are Mark Jermann and Yves Nager from Switzerland. Having been strongly influenced by dance music since the early 90s, they started both to perform as DJs in 1996. Mark won the 3rd place of Swiss Dee Jay Masters and Yves was resident DJ in a former club called Markthalle in Bern where a close friend of him organized the event-serie Monokultur with international artists like Rush, Umek, Marco Carola, Ben Sims, Gaetano Parisio, Space DJz, Thomas Krome, Regis or Surgeon.

After the club closed in 2000, Yves moved near Zurich, where Mark already lived. They met each other and discovered that they have the same taste in music and same passion to different styles of techno. So Mark and Yves decided to create their own loop based sound. In a longer period of hard work, they built up their studio, where they have characterized their style. In this way, when they produce a track, they always try to perfect their sounddesign and to show new aspects in
sound in connection with the latest technique.

In their earlier productions you can hear their roots in electronic music back to the 90s, because the sound was uniquely fast and hardpercussive. Since 2007 they opened their tracks also for some influences of the progressive-techtrance-scence which they combine now with their hardgroove roots. Audioklinik released first on Unknown Forces 12.5, where they appeared beside well etablished producers like Patrik Skoog, Dean Rodell, Staffan Ehrlin and Tuomas Rantanen, followed by their next 3-tracker on Dave the Drummers Hydraulix-Label. With funky basslines, tight percussions and uplifting synthies their style is uniquely in harder techno but
also combined with actual techtrance productions. So, some next releases on further international labels from Spain, England, Poland and Slovenia came out very fast. In the beginning of 2008, Mark & Yves will have signed for around 20 releases (vinyl and digital).

Their sets are quite energetic, technicaly perfect, has a lot of effects and varies between hardgroovy pumpin techno and a drivin' percussive-techtrance style. Since 2007, they appear as a combined Live/DJ-performance with laptop and on 3 decks. This allows them to spin as much tracks and power as possible and to create a buildup of their sets with the total freedom where to place longer breaks and where to spin parts full of endless and drivin loops. So far, Mark & Yves
shared the stages in well known venues like U60311 in Frankfurt or Rohstofflager in Zurich with acts like DJ Rush, Murphy & Christian Fischer, Ben Sims, Felix Kröcher, The Advent, Eric Sneo, Pet Duo, Hardcell & Grindvik, Bold, DJ Mary, Frank Kvitta, Lucca, Thomas P. Heckmann, Robert Natus, Wehbba, Sven Wittekind, Lady Waks, Boris S. or Frank Sonic. Some of this artists also
support them with spinning their tracks worldwide in different venues.
